Hunger Feast 2007
Children in our parish Christian Formation Program (CFP) began Lent with a Hunger Feast, to experience first-hand how food is distributed unequally in our world. One table enjoyed pizza and chips, three tables had a cracker, a cheese cube and water, but most children (60%) sat on the floor with only a cracker. Lively discussion followed. The Hunger Feast was the beginning of our CFP service project, Operation Rice Bowl.
