Parish Outreach - St. Dominic's Fun Day 2009

Through your weekly contributions, the Christian Service Commission made a sizeable donation to help fund a family fun-day for children and families served by the St. Dominic Outreach center. They enjoyed hot dogs, fruit drinks, cookies and candy to eat. There were games, a moon walk, face painting, crafts, and a kiddy train ride. Many hands worked together to make a very special day to brighten the lives of the poor.

Following is a thank you note to Father Tom and the parishioners of St. Kenneth:

"St. Dominic's would like to extend our greatest appreciation and gratitude for your donation of $1,000.00 toward our annual fun-day program. Having you to help support the community children is always a blessing; it allows them to interact with family and each other. It shows the children positive links between our volunteers and the community. You have always been caring in extending your hand to the children of this community so again we would like to thank you for your participation in our annual fun-day.
