LOGOS

LOGOS, a Middle School religious formation program, is the theology and practice of Christian Relationships in a disciplined, mid-week, four-part context: Catechesis, Worship, Activities/Playtime, and Dinner Hour/Family Time. Catechesis, equips teens to embrace a personal relationship with Jesus through the study of Scripture and our rich Catholic Traditions. They will also learn the "how", "why", and joy of prayer. Through Worship the young people will have the opportunity to prepare as well as experience different forms of prayer. Activities/Playtime ensures that all participants experience great fun at the expense of no one else. The Dinner Hour/Family Time, part four of our LOGOS program, "provides a joyous cross-generational celebration of personhood over a shared meal as we experience being the family of God."

Confirmation Program

Jesus invited his friends to come with him on new adventures that deepened their faith and understanding of who He was. Likewise, St. Kenneth Parish invites young people to continue their initiation into the community of believers by preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation. Confirmation celebrates the presence of God's special strength and gifts in each baptized person. These youth will take time to build community with each other as they learn and grow in faith through prayer, catechetical sessions, service opportunities, and a retreat experience.
